"Why then Ile fit you. Hieronimo's mad againe."
This line comes from an Elizabethan drama called "The Spanish Tragedy, or Hieronimo is Mad Again," which established a new genre in English theatre, the revenge play. Eliot changed the location of this quote, moving it from right after "-O, swallow, swallow(V. Eliot 81)" to before "Datta. Dayadhvam, damyata(V. Eliot 81)," moving it to near the end, where it would be more noticeable. He probably did this because he wanted to emphasise the quote further, placing more emphasis on the vengeful nature of the lightning.
